Internet Explorer 8 Full
Since the introduction of the SmartScreen Filter in Internet Explorer 8 [IE8], Microsoft reports that its browser has blocked over 1 billion malware downloads attempts on the Internet.
Based on NSS Labs’ reports in August 2009 and March 2010, IE8 beats Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera out of the way, when it comes to Socially engineering attacks like malware. Taking a look at August 2009, IE8 had blocked 70 million malware downloads at the rate of about 18 million a month, and then it market share was 15% [according to Net Applications], and as of last month Internet Explorer’s share grew to 26%, but Microsoft reports it’s blocking over 5 times as many malware downloads now. HOW INSECURE THE INTERNET HAS BECOME!
